When the crowd turned crazy…

“This is not like one of our regular concerts because the bulk of the audience here is school children and so the atmosphere is extra- charged,” said Lakkhichhara lead singer Subhojit.

The band rocked the audience at the end of Day One of Vibes 2005 at Nazrul Manch while belting out hits like “Prithibi”, “Telephone” and “Lakkhichhara”. They also had a few English rocking numbers like Bon Jovi’s “It’s my life” in store for the ecstatic listeners. The shouts of “Gabu! Gabu!” filled the auditorium while the very talent- ed son of the late Gautam Chattopadhyay created magic with his drumsticks.

A thunderous applause shook Nazrul Manch when Lakkhichhara signed off with their super hit “Ghure phire”. They literally turned the crowd “lakkhichhara”!
